The Value of Friendship
Posted on June 9, 2009
C.S. Lewis once said
“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.”
Don’t get caught up too much in the “survival” mode of life, where your life revolves around making money or climbing the corporate ladder. Remember that life lived that way is not a life worth living compared to the life full of good friends and a loving family.
